More new stuff on the way!

Hey All,

  Immediately following this blog post I will begin work on the first of five new articles I’ll be submitting to AC. The first will be an article with advice for mixed ability couples, that is couples where one partner is disabled and the other is not disabled. My husband and I have been together for just over 6 years and married a 1 1/2 of that time. He is able-bodied and I have cerebral palsy. We’ve learned a lot about how to be happy despite a lot of obstacles in that time. With his full support, I plan to share a few keys of that happiness with readers.

Other articles heading for AC’s queue are articles on what not to do if your loved one marries someone from another country and what not to do if a love one marries someone with a disability. All of these will be based on personal experience. (My husband Sam is from England)

Another things planned include general advice for brides, more reviews, and  some articles on various cultures. The first of these will be a piece about Danish culture, something unusual and an interesting topic I have enjoyed researching. I am of Danish descent(I’m only a 3rd generation American) and enjoy genealogy and history so this article series should be fun!

Please be patient everyone, remember that just because something doesn’t appear right away on the site, this doesn’t mean it is not complete. Many of my articles are for upfront payment, meaning I submit an article after researching it for however long needed, then write, which is often the shortest part of writing, then place it in th AC queue for consideration for a payment before publishing.

The entire process from submitting a piece to it being published can take up to two weeks. Sometime around the articles’ publication,usually a few days after or before is when writers are paid.

     So if something has a publication date of March 1st, it most likely in my case will have been written at least several days before the publication date, if not a week or two. The only things published immediately are those which I(or any other AC Content Producer) publishes for royalties only. These things include such things as poetry and recipes and those few articles( in my case) that AC rejects for upfront payment.

Hey Everybody,

  Taking a much need break from heavy research and writing. I will be writing more for AC tomorrow. These will include more reviews, health, and culture. I’ve had several ideas floating around in my head. Ideas connecting health and culture, ideas educating all of us about various cultures.

I hope it will be a wonderful learning experience for us all. Learning through my writing has always been one of the main reasons I continue to do it.

Today I sought out a few opportunities. Immediately following this posting I’ll be doing more promotion for my writings on AC until sometime tonight. A few things look very promising, more on that next time. Take Care everybody!:)

New articles up on the “new” AC

Hello All,

 Happy Tuesday everyone. Two new articles of mine have been published on Associated Content. Both of them are reviews, read if you are into saving money.

Associated Content has undergone changes literally overnight and without warning to content producers like myself. As of yet I am not very pleased with this new design because it causes our articles are condensed, For example, the copy for two page articles is moved onto one page, etc. This reduces our performance payments(the month royalty payment sent every month for the previous month’s page views). The design itself is a bit cluttered and will take some getting use to, at the least.

I’m not sure what changes are coming to AC in addition to the ones made in the last few months if they become completely unbeneficial to me financially,I will have no choice but to leave Although I enjoy it, my main reason for writing for AC is to supplement an already very meager income, not for fun. My husband and I and our financial needs have to come first. I will move on to other sites if need be but I’m willing to stick it out with AC for a while. How long is anybody’s guess, I just wish that AC had sent out notices to its producers BEFORE the change was going to occur and would actually listen to some of the suggestions made by its writers. Happy St. Patrick’s Day

Happy St. Patrick’s Day to one and all,

   Hope you all have a good time at any festivites you attend today. Please enjoy and don’t drink and drive. Be safe everyone.

I’m going to go out today and am going to look for new article topics, shortly after I place my poker night recipes on Associated Content. I hope you enjoy them.

Plenty of new stuff is coming, my advice for new brides,a few disabilty realated articles to help clear some misconceptions, and a few other as yet unknown things for fun and entertainment. I have three reviews in the queue at AC, they should be out soon. Hope you all have a great day!

I’m hunting work

Hey everybody,

    Writing to let you all know I’m still hard at work on that stuff for Associated Content. I’m also biding my time to get started with a few pay per blog entry websites(most of them require that the blog in question be at least 90 days old.)The reviews are coming with or without an upfront offer. I’ve done 3 PV only articles in the last month to help boost lagging pageviews, one more; the poker night recipes will be up soon. An unusal C4C but I’ll enjoy it since I like cooking.

  I’d like to thank the Barefoot and all his guest contributors for his blog chalk full of AC tips. I’m applying them to recent writing as best as I can. Thank you All very much.

Back to work I go writing and looking for other opportunities in addition to AC.

New poem on AC

Hello All,

  A quick early morning note to let everyone know I have a second reveiw in the que at AC waiting for review, hopefully I’ll get a little something for each that are in there at the moment, but if not I’ll place them up for pageviews, can’t let them go to waste. Both of them good reads if you want to watch your wallet.

   I have placed an Irishesque poem of mine up for viewing, it is about 10 years old but is  still enjoyable if you like poetry. A nice read for St. Patrick’s Day. More reviews will be wrtten and submitted soon,I’m getting as much done as I can without letting my health fall by the wayside. My health has been something that has never been an issue outside the CP for me before and I’m just learning to adjust to apparent changes with the disability and its effect on me as I “age” as the doctors have put it in recent years. Can ya tell I don’t like the thought of the approaching 3-0? lol Yes, I know I’m only twenty-nine but my joints have thought they were 60,65 for a while now. The great thing is most of the effects haven’t been too bad until the last year or so. Thank God, I’ve known so many people with so many larger problems than this, I’ve been incredibly blessed.

Biting off so much you choke

Evening All,

 Just a quick post to let you all know I am working on all of those reviews I mentioned yesterday but I have had to decline the foreign tourism project. I’ve been trying so hard to get so much done lately but I can’t make a 24 hour day into 36 or 48. I was up until 2 am this morning working to get this site going for PayPerPost with no luck and finishing and submitting a review for AC.

   I’m finding that I cannot be up in my wheelchair from 10 am til almost 3 or 4 the next morning writing or promoting. The only exception being brief breaks to eat and do some personal care. The hubby also has to apply for work. It is very difficult for me to just do what I can and literally nothing else, maybe because I’ve always strived for better than what I can do and have often gone beyond what I miniumally need to do. Crazy I know, but what I lack in “normalcy”, I make up for in cuteness and rambling blog writing. Ha!
 I will always do my best though, promise you all that.

  I will have some new recipes out soon for those who like having poker nights. All of them good and fattening, don’t worry. The reviews are coming as soon as they’re reviewed.

I need another computer,lol

Hello Friends, readers,and everyone else,

  Sorry I haven’t updated in a few days but work has to come first. I have placed a new Easter Dinner Menu on AC. It has a few recipes I make for Easter that are always a hit. It is basically my roast chicken dinner recipe. I often make it for my husband on special occasions and I hope you all enjoy if you give it a try for whatever reason.

  I am currently working on over one dozen reviews for Associated Content and plan to add about a half dozen health and wellness articles to that list. I will be adding something more small and brief for St. Patick’s Day than originally planned, because I have gotten a huge assignment from a foreign tourism site today and a few things will have to wait because I only have about a week to complete it. Ah..the good old deadline-can’t be a writer without them.

At the same time(this will explain the title) my husband has to apply for work using this computer so it will be tricky but we’ll get it all done somehow. Hopefully I can not only someday help provide us with a living but get myself a laptop computer, that way no matter what I can write, even if I can’t be up and about and post things I can still prepare them. 

  No matter what I am determined to succeed at this work I do, because through AC and other places on the net. I have found the best way to make my contribution a better life for Sam and I at the moment.  More importantly, people seem to find what I’m writing useful and entertaining.   That’s my goal for now, it is hard to think of the future with so much work to do, and my getting old at least by standards of my peers.

New writing on the way!

Hello everyone,

     Just about to get to work on those articles, I’ve been talking about and others I haven’t mentioned. Most of my work lately has been delayed because my husband has had to apply for work most of the week. We will be rotating “computer shifts” next week so that I will be able to use the computer more during the day. I’ll be on more of a day shift schedule. I’m sorry about any delays and thank you so much for your patience and for those of you who have read my AC work from here thank you so very much.  The delays are needed unfortunately but hopefully everything will be more organized soon so Sam and I can better our situation. The nocturnal one awakens…again

Hey All,

     I hope everyone had a good day today. My day was spent looking(uneventfully) for other freelance writing jobs. I suppose I shouldn’t say uneventfully I did find a few but the instructions were very vague in the requests. This is something that would be fine if there weren’t deadlines as short as a day in one case and two in the other and despite my contacting the potential client for further instructions;receiving none.

   If they had each been for more money(more than a few dollars as they were offering) for the work they wanted done I’d have done them and posted them ASAP. Unfortunately, the sinus troubles I was having earlier this week are still lurking about and my medicine is making me very drowsy.

  I will be up working on some things for AC and promoting this blog and looking for other opportunities to use this space o’ mine to bring in some income for my husband and myself. I have applied to Blogitive and hope to hear from them soon. It may sound strange but I enjoy writing product reviews and helping other consumers. Money is never to be wasted, especially in times like this day and age.

  I have had a new piece published on AC, the one about birthday party games. Hopefully, you’ll find it refreshing and a change from the highly technical stuff we all have these days. There’s nothing wrong with technology today, in fact I find it fantastic but I think there is absolutely no harm in interacting with people and not have some flashing beeping machine to facilitate it occasionally.

This is something I think younger people and children today are missing out on. In fact, it kind of worries me..in 30 years will everyone type with thier thumbs and not know how to interact without machines? Know how to use a dictionary? What happens if one day it all goes kaput for a while? Will people not work for days? Just something to think about. I feel it is good to know how to be both low and hi tech.  I do not think all the emoticons in the world can replace genuine human kindness, decency, class, and manners! I’m big on those by the way, think I’m too uptight? That’s fine, everyone is entitled to their opinion. In fact you’re more than welcome to leave an opposing remark. Thanks for reading all.
