Coming Attractions!

Hey Everyone,

Hope all is well with everyone reading. :) I’m just writing to let you all know new writing will be coming this week on both Associated Content and Suite 101. The past week wasn’t very productive for me as I was a bit under the weather all week long. I apologize for the gap in published work, but things will pick up this week. I will be writing some health articles for AC and a few beauty and fashion peices for Suite 101.

Textbroker is working out fairly well so far, for a ghostwriting website it isn’t too bad. The articles don’t take long to research or write. Although the pay per article isn’t very high these facts give me the ability to do more in one session. That’s all for now. Stay well friends. Thank you for reading.

  1. Hey I read your blog and had a question about both AC and 101. I see that you write for both but I’ve read some mixed reviews of 101 about not paying their writers in 2001…long time ago but it makes me suspicious. Can you tell me more about these websites and what makes them different and how it is worth a writer’s time to sell to these kinds of databases.
    Thanks

  2. Mindy,

I have written for AC for about a year and a half. Suite 101, at the time of this post I haven’t written anything for them yet. AC is fairly reliable with pay although the pay per article can sometimes be low. (3-4 dollars each)but if they are well written, unique, and SEO based as well as within ACs guidelines they can be sold to them but for exclusive rights. If you are at AC for a long time you can apply to write for their content partners and earn more money(amount varies). They also have Calls for Content which are deadline assignments that pay around the same as self submitted articles. You can also submit peieces for ad sharing money the more you submit along with how popular each piece is determine your earnings. My most common way of earning money on AC is through upfront payment and calls for content.
Suite 101 is solely ad sharing and there is an application process along with strict guidlines. As far as them not paying people, I know nothing about that. I have found that Suite 101 is thought to be among the most reputable sites.
Bottomline is you should look at each site’sstandards, rules, and processes and decided for yourself. What fits your life is probably different from what fits mine or anyone else’s for that matter. Thanks for reading and best wishes.

  3. I enjoy AC quite a bit. I’ve tried all the popular websites and keep coming back to AC. No way to get rich, but the community is good and the guidelines are relatively lenient.

Thanks for commenting on my pieces!

  4. James,

I enjoy reading your work so commenting is not a problem at all. AC is one of the best sites I’ve come across when looking for new writing work online. As you said it is certainly not a place to make a tremendous amount of money(unless people have a lot of time to devote to it), but it helps! Thank you for visiting my blog.

    Take Care,

    Jennifer
