Happy Autumn!

  I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful time of year. I have many more peices in mind pertaining to this beautiful time of year. Seeing the leaves change here in Michigan is an awe striking site.

As far as when those pieces will be out; I am not sure as my husband and I have some things to take care of in our personal lives but they will be out as soon as possible.

Since my last blog entry, I’ve written five peieces for AC and I’ve started writing for Triond. I have made the decision to not work for Suite 101. Although this seemed like an excellent oppurtunity at the time, with my current health care needs, I can only write for so many sites at a time. AC, Textbroker, Triond, and hopefully soon today.com. I cannot meet Suite 101’s standards and find said standards a little much for page views only.

There will be more articles on AC from me soon, on several topics. These topics include easy ideas to be more “green”, a bit on my life with cerebral palsy and misconceptions of CP among a few others.

Hey Everyone,

  Hope all is well with everyone reading. I’m just writing to let you all know new writing will be coming this week on both Associated Content and Suite 101. The past week wasn’t very productive for me as I was a bit under the weather all week long. I apologize for the gap in published work, but things will pick up this week. I will be writing some health articles for AC and a few beauty and fashion peices for Suite 101.

    Textbroker is working out fairly well so far, for a ghostwriting website it isn’t too bad. The articles don’t take long to research or write. Although the pay per article isn’t very high these facts give me the ability to do more in one session. That’s all for now. Stay well friends. Thank you for reading.

Hello Everybody,

     Hope all is well for everybody in internet land! Things are looking up here as I have found more work. I have very recently been accepted at Suite 101 and I’m testing out a new site textbroker.com. Both seem very promising, but I will cotinue with Associated Content regardless of the results yeilded by these two sites.

     My husband is still looking for work(to bring in extra money and the health insurance) and managing many of the household tasks. I wish I could help more with them but they are things that my disability prevents me from being able to do. The writing is my way of contributing to the household because I would find it inexcusble to sit on my butt while he does all that he does for us.  Its a standing agreement in our marriage that both of us most contribute positively to our life together and that and our marriage come first.  If others don’t like that then they need not be around and if they grow to a point of interfering with our abilities to do that they will no longer be welcome.

   The new jobs will require a lot more work and will have shorter deadlines. As with AC, I don’t work I don’t get paid. If I don’t meet a deadline I don’t get paid or I could be fired or both. Meaning we will both be even more busy than ever but it will be well worth it finanacally as the basics of life are changing in price all the time. Living on such a limited income is rough and we have always known things would be an uphill battle for us but people who make things harder by interfering or being too demanding of our time only make things worse.(Explaining the rant above..sorry about that) Every penny that comes into this house is needed to eat, clean the house, and pay bills.      Hope everyone is doing well, especially those in other parts of the midwest dealing with the difficult weather and flooding. This summer has been difficult for many people across the US; weather wise and economically. I’ve recently written a few articles that may help readers save money and protect investments.

Hey Everybody,

   I’m sorry to not have written in a long time. My family member is recovering from a vital surgery that took place a few weeks ago. Thank God for that. I know I haven’t written much on AC for over a month now. I wanted to remain completely available for my family until she was well on the way to recovery.  I will be resuming my normal work habits this week. I’d absolutely love to have broadband and my line open for all family and friends(both mine and my husband’s) all the time but it is not financially possible right now and may never be until we are able to move  to a new buliding (which isn’t going to happen anytime soon either). Keeping the bills paid and food on the table are mutually holding priority one right now. I’ve been doing most of my job hunting, for better jobs writing very late at night into the early hours of the next day.

  I have found Helium Marketplace which I have had a bit of luck with lately. This DOES NOT mean I won’t be writing for Associated Content anymore but my stuff on AC may become less frequent. I enjoy AC but it doesn’t pay enough to help pay the ever growing bills the are ouccuring due to much higher fuel prices which drives up the prices of just about everything else. I will work on the articles I’ve mentioned in other posts as soon as some of the other work for which there are deadlines and MUCH higher pay than AC. Those will have to come first so I can help better the difficult situation so many are in including us. Thank you so much everyone for reading, kind words, and thoughts and prayers. Hello my reader friends,

   In the last few days I have come to realize that I am going to have to work through my loved one’s health crisis. As much as I love them( and that is very very much) my husband and I need to eat and have a clean home.

  The writing will be done offline during the day and research will be done later at night. I still have a dial up connection because I can’t afford any other type at the moment. I will be working on the articles about Denmark, Cerebral Palsy,culture,and more product reviews.

     The writing will be arriving slower than I care for and I don’t plan to pick up any deadlined assignments for the rest of the month in order to be as available as much possible for my family. I hope to find the best balance possible. I will be submitting this blog to PayPerPost soon and will start using this blog to write for them as soon as possible, which will help our situation a lot. Meanwhile please feel free to read my other Associated Content pieces. Hey y’all.

Just writing to check in, I am sorry I haven’t written recently. I have been busy with more personal matters as of late, the health of a family member has been discovered to be less than fantastic in recent weeks and my first priority beyond the well being of my husband and myself is that of this person. I will not be writing or researching very much for a while. Although, I cannot provide the kind of support I would like to them and the rest of my family, I intend to be available to help in any way I can. In order to do so I’ll need to stick closer to home more often and leave my phone line free.

Hey All,

  Immediately following this blog post I will begin work on the first of five new articles I’ll be submitting to AC. The first will be an article with advice for mixed ability couples, that is couples where one partner is disabled and the other is not disabled. My husband and I have been together for just over 6 years and married a 1 1/2 of that time. He is able-bodied and I have cerebral palsy. We’ve learned a lot about how to be happy despite a lot of obstacles in that time. With his full support, I plan to share a few keys of that happiness with readers.

Other articles heading for AC’s queue are articles on what not to do if your loved one marries someone from another country and what not to do if a love one marries someone with a disability. All of these will be based on personal experience. (My husband Sam is from England)

Another things planned include general advice for brides, more reviews, and  some articles on various cultures. The first of these will be a piece about Danish culture, something unusual and an interesting topic I have enjoyed researching. I am of Danish descent(I’m only a 3rd generation American) and enjoy genealogy and history so this article series should be fun!

Please be patient everyone, remember that just because something doesn’t appear right away on the site, this doesn’t mean it is not complete. Many of my articles are for upfront payment, meaning I submit an article after researching it for however long needed, then write, which is often the shortest part of writing, then place it in th AC queue for consideration for a payment before publishing.

The entire process from submitting a piece to it being published can take up to two weeks. Sometime around the articles’ publication,usually a few days after or before is when writers are paid.

     So if something has a publication date of March 1st, it most likely in my case will have been written at least several days before the publication date, if not a week or two. The only things published immediately are those which I(or any other AC Content Producer) publishes for royalties only. These things include such things as poetry and recipes and those few articles( in my case) that AC rejects for upfront payment.

Hey Everybody,

  Taking a much need break from heavy research and writing. I will be writing more for AC tomorrow. These will include more reviews, health, and culture. I’ve had several ideas floating around in my head. Ideas connecting health and culture, ideas educating all of us about various cultures.

I hope it will be a wonderful learning experience for us all. Learning through my writing has always been one of the main reasons I continue to do it.

Today I sought out a few opportunities. Immediately following this posting I’ll be doing more promotion for my writings on AC until sometime tonight. A few things look very promising, more on that next time. Take Care everybody!:)

Hello All,

 Happy Tuesday everyone. Two new articles of mine have been published on Associated Content. Both of them are reviews, read if you are into saving money.

Associated Content has undergone changes literally overnight and without warning to content producers like myself. As of yet I am not very pleased with this new design because it causes our articles are condensed, For example, the copy for two page articles is moved onto one page, etc. This reduces our performance payments(the month royalty payment sent every month for the previous month’s page views). The design itself is a bit cluttered and will take some getting use to, at the least.

I’m not sure what changes are coming to AC in addition to the ones made in the last few months if they become completely unbeneficial to me financially,I will have no choice but to leave Although I enjoy it, my main reason for writing for AC is to supplement an already very meager income, not for fun. My husband and I and our financial needs have to come first. I will move on to other sites if need be but I’m willing to stick it out with AC for a while. How long is anybody’s guess, I just wish that AC had sent out notices to its producers BEFORE the change was going to occur and would actually listen to some of the suggestions made by its writers.
